Ex Convento Agostiniani
Descrizione 
Noto negli ultimi anni per essere la storica location del Festival “ La Notte della Taranta” , il convento rappresenta uno dei monumenti più importanti del Barocco in provincia di Lecce. Venne edificato intorno alla seconda metà del ‘500 per permettere il passaggio dal rito greco a quello latino. La facciata fu ricostruita nella seconda metà del ‘600 ed è dedicata alla Madonna del Carmine.

Known in recent years for being the historic location of the Festival "La Notte della Taranta", the convent is one of the most important monuments of the Baroque in the province of Lecce. It was built around the second half of the '500 to allow the transition from the Greek rite to the Latin one. The façade was rebuilt in the second half of the '600 and is dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine.
